Pros

You get to become a master sweeper.

Cons

They refuse to stop hiring people in, even though there aren’t enough tools/welding machines to go around, so a large portion of employees on the floor just end up sweeping. Very poor management, there’s a huge disconnect between what goes on in the office and what happens on the floor. They actually have a safety man but he is widely regarded as not having any clue as to what he is doing. Safety is made out to be important up until the moment it conflicts with production.

Pros

Pay is good. Safety is important and safety issues are taken care of quickly.

Cons

Management from the foreman all the way to the top are in their own way. There's a lot of micromanaging and miscommunication. Projects get delayed because management fails to communicate with anyone from the contractors doing the job to other key players that need information to move the project forward. Do yourself a favor and don't work here. Now that Trane bought them out, Trane management is looking to replace anyone they can. Trane's management team is also in their own way and they don't introduce themselves or what their objectives are, probably because their objective is to eliminate as many Stellar Energy employees as possible.
