Great co- workers and appreciative clients.

Cons

It’s all about the quota. They really couldn’t care less about the clients. It was difficult to continue to work there and have to come across so many road blocks when trying to genuinely help the clients. Staying at Step Up means that you eventually give up on trying to make a difference and mainly focus on working for a pay check and a bonus, which is highly promoted by management. Those in management are either highly lacking in expertise or are operating at bare minimum . A good place to get your hours but RUN once you have gained your hours.

Leadership is supportive and open to feedback, and there are real opportunities to grow and contribute in meaningful ways. It's inspiring to work alongside people who are so committed to creating positive change in the community.

Cons

Nonprofit work can come with its challenges—limited resources and heavy workloads at times—but the passion of the team and the impact of the work make it worthwhile.
