Pros
No pros except they placed me into a job that was a 'work from home' with KMC Controls(New Paris, Indiana). I was paid well for doing nothing that's useful to my career.
Cons
From day one, the company I was placed at had no clue what they really wanted to do. I still don't know what I was hired to do, since they never truly utilized me as a resource. They kept me in the dark about most things. In the end, I was let go due 'business strategy change' only being there for 8 months, yet this was a full time job. I wasn't doing any real programming work even though I tried to look for work for my self to do. During the interview, the company lied to me that they wouldn't 'let me go' if things went south in regards to the project, since they had other things that can be done. The company broke their written agreement(handle by sterling engineering) with me getting a possible additional raise after six months, via review was given. Instead, through my multiple ignored inquiries they never gave me that review and switched me to the manager that would eventually lay me off. Currently, I'm still unemployed(6 months at this point in time), since KMC literally put a hole of irrelevant work experience, in my resume, and Sterling helped them do that.
