Pros

Decent equipment few staff members on night Dispatch care about the drivers. Decent training if you went to one of their third party schools.

Cons

Communication loss on whole alliance staff when help is needed. Plus go from good miles to no miles quickly. Would not recommend the alliance program to anyone. They take cake care of their favorite drivers and leave the rest to suffer. Do not pay enough to make a decent wage.

At Stevens Transport, we compensate our Drivers according to miles dispatched and Stevens has been recognized as an industry leader in miles per dispatch. Our pay rates per mile are in line with, if not higher than the industry average, depending on the driver's experience. I invite you to speak with your driver manager, or their supervisor if you ever have any issue that needs attention. Our Alliance team, as well as our driver managers and other support personnel, are committed to the success of our Drivers.

You get to see the country

Cons

Bad communication, unrealistic expectations, lying recruiters, poor driver management, loopholes to get out of paying you for anything, safety rules go too far and prevent you from properly driving, some safety rules actually make it more unsafe to drive the truck, pay is not accurate, no real opportunities to make it home if you dont live near a drop zone.
