Pros

- Unlimited vacation - Free catered lunches on Tuesdays - Free snacks, cereal, coffee, fruits, drinks, etc - Unique, data-driven business model

Cons

Stitch Fix is no longer is one of the best places to work, and many people are unhappy with the work-life balance. People are extremely over-worked but with little to no reward (no such thing as bonus here, and compensation is just ok). Days are jam packed with endless meetings, and you have no time to actually get any work done. People are rudely cut off in meetings by the leadership team, which shows that there's no respect or trust. Favoritism is a big issue. Managers don't even try to hide who their favorites are, which creates a negative & competitive working environment. In order to get promoted, you have to interview & pass the project/presentation.. This creates an awkward, competitive environment, as people will compete to interview for the open position. And when when you don't pass the interview? Everyone will know that you weren't good enough to be promoted, which shows how this system is flawed.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
