Pros

>More flexible than most part-time jobs that don't require education or experience. >Generally your direct boss (styling team lead) will be a reasonably nice person to work for. >40% discount on merchandise >Generally able to work independently >It can be a fun job

Cons

>nearly zero room for growth >increasingly less flexibility as company grows >HQ people are rude, disrespectful and condescending to stylists >dismal pay rate with almost no chance for meaningful raises, despite hard work, high performance, and loyalty >isolated work life - almost zero interaction with co-workers >disingenuous company 'culture' >continued inventory issues that make styling within 14 and some odd number of minutes really hard, yet stylists forced to be held accountable for their poor merch planning via below acceptable metrics >meetings in which management is really rude and condescending towards styling team for voicing problems and concerns, and no action being taken to improve the stylist experience

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
