Pros

It is remote and there is some flexibility with scheduling.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are a ton of cons to this job but I'm trying to give an unbiased opinion. This is a downright emotionally abusive position at times. You are expected to act, think, and talk like the software that you will one day be replaced by. It is hush hush to say anything negative you may be experiencing from the constant changes that this position will throw at you. Leadership uses the remote perks of this position to manipulate it's employees into an unrealistic work load for an end of the day entry level retail job. You are not compensated for all the thousands of dollars you ring in each day. There used to be a little bit of creativity allowed and now there's no time for that because all they care about is the bottom line and having you do what a computer currently can't. No one I started with in training is still working here. You'll be (constantly) subtly shamed into thinking you're always doing something wrong, even when all your metrics are stellar and you are doing everything asked. I never have had an issue with meeting my metrics but to be honest it has taken every living ounce out of me each week to drive those kinds of results. You have to send clients merchandise that is at the end of the day downright unattractive almost all of the time. You don't get much unpaid time off (3 weeks per year) or sick time. If you're really sick you'll be harrassed into why you're using your time - atleast I was. The employee discount is not even close to being worth it because again there is no inventory to pick from that you'll find attractive. You have to work mid morning or you probably will struggle to meet your metrics. My physical and mental health is dwindling from the decisions of this tyrant company.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
