Pros

You can work from home but I highly suggest you find another remote job if you can.

Cons

Where to begin? This job at first offered freedom and the ability to create your own schedule which made up for the fact that the pay is low and isn't a living wage. Then when I started as FT they promised that there would be room to develop skills and do something other than just StylingThen they slowly started taking away that freedom with not allowing FT to work a full 40 hours and saying that they should "only stick to Styling" at the moment. Then they set the schedule limits of working from 8am-8pm and having to set the EXACT TIME to 15 min. excrements 2 weeks in advance while only giving you your schedule 2 days before the week starts. So many people had to leave because they relied on that flexibility and they were just given a mere $1000 (that's heavily taxed). On top of that, the systems we need to work are constantly breaking down and we are encouraged to move our hours around but only if they're in the time constraints. So we are forced to try to be flexible in a setting that doesn't want us to be and only for their convenience. The rules are constantly changing and on top of that they put a fake smile and use toxic positivity to make you feel like this is normal and acceptable.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
