Pros

Work From Home, set your own hours within paramerters

Cons

This company is not what it used to be. When I started it was an uplifting supportive place to work. I was motivated to do my best for the clients and the company because it truly felt as if leadership would do their best for their employees. I loved working here and was excited/proud to share my employer when asked. With the recent changes, negative publicity, new leadership and overall culture shift, it's like a different job entirely. It's clear that the negative environment starts at the top and I feel badly not only for my colleagues, but also my direct leadership who is taking the brunt of the fallout from the changes to scheduling. It often feels as if stylists are working against the company to do what is best for our clients, many of whom we've developed long relationships with, while the company focuses on efficiency and profit. It's sad to see a company that was once brought such hope and positivity to those of us who need to work from home, become such a toxic, defeating place to be.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
