Although still a relatively new employee at StoryPoint in Rockford, Mich. (2 months, part-time), I've felt a genuine sense of purpose and pride since the first day I started. The conscientious one-on-one attention, patient and professional hands-on training and clear, personable presentation of job routine and expectations that came not only from the wellness coordinator but seasoned employees provided a strong foundation for me to meet the needs of our great residents to the best of my ability today and continually more every day. The nurturing encouragement, appreciation and incentive I've received from our Wellness Coordinator and overall sense of community, teamwork and positivity that extends from our Executive Director straight through to caregivers in StoryPoint's different areas of residency as well as its culinary, housekeeping and maintenance team supports a setting designed to make everyone here feel important and special.
