Pros
Dear Potential Candidate, I do not have any pros to offer you. I urge you to apply elsewhere.
Cons
Heavy micro-management. Highly disorganized including the government client SRI answers to and received prior funding to finance the CRBC contract. Instructions (policies, SOPs, guides, etc.) change at least twice a week so keep your head on swivel and be ready to conform to confusion and asinine changes. Be ready for the constant headaches - especially on Fridays because that's when they like to notify you of last minute changes in which you will have to re-re-review a thousand records because someone at another location messed up a file. Now, everybody has to pay the price. I don't blame the BCA who messed up because I know it's not their fault due to ever-changing policies and NO ONE was trained. Note: Don't be fooled by the "great reviews" - that's someone within the company who is still on payroll and has to give a response and false-positive review to counteract the poor reviews. Look at the dates SRI responds. Read the review, and you will find two different tones - the TRUE statements from ACTUAL EMPLOYEES and the COUNTERACT statement/review from the company. Most of the items the company "attempts" to include in order to counteract poor reviews include when the company won the contract, their certification, how many great reviews from government customers they received, etc. Employees do not care about that data. I noticed many people complained about pay and SRI's response was the DOL determines the wages under SCA; however, as true as that is, what SRI WILL NOT tell you is that the wage is the minimum they have to offer you. They can offer more, but they will not so don't expect it. There are NO pay raises regardless the length of tenure. Advice: If you're going to work a contact, research top DoD contractors in your area. SRI is no where near the top or on the list at all. Research the top companies attributes and what interests you, then review those of SRI and make a decision that's best for you and your situation.
