Where do I begin? First of all, I would like to debunk the 401K fantasy that was mentioned in the previous review. SRI does offer a 401K but it is a "disgressionary" fund. In other words, at the end of the year the CEO decides whether any money is placed into your 401K. In the three (3) years they have held this contract, they have never ONCE put a penny into their employees 401K. Secondly, let's talk about health insurance. A family policy can run almost a $800 a month. How does that fit in with your world view of a caring, company? Moving onto salaries, this contract was won by bidding the absolute lowest possible amount. That ended up equating to many people taking a huge cut in their take home pay, a complete elimination of bonus,' and we are not going to mention raises or merit increases. The overall attitude of upper management has been punitive and self serving. Luckily, I have stayed under their radar, but upper management looks for what you are doing wrong, rather than what you do right, but you can be sure that at the same time they are making sure they are taking primo care of themselves. Education and experience are not necessarily rewarded and those who have skills which add greately to working with the population are marginalized while those who lack boundaries, who voice unprofessional attitudes are encouraged. I present this as a cautionary tale to all who are considering employment with SRI. Overall, look at the majority of reviews. Not all of us can be so wrong about our assessment.
