Pros

Refreshing to work for a company that cares about and supports its employees, challenges them to grow with the company but also maintains a primary focus on improving the lives of others within our communities. Team members trust and respect each other and have a shared commitment to both individual and company success. The company supports and encourages employees to expand skills and interests within other divisions of the company and the work continues to be challenging as well as rewarding!

Cons

Somewhat unstructured with best practices, processes and procedures, onboarding was a little rough, but starting to see changes happen to address those issues and more.

Pros

Had a wonderful experience working at SSG, they have a positive culture, are collaborative and have innovative teams. Remote friendly culture makes it easy to work with your team from anywhere in the U.S. Leadership listens and cares about your feedback.

Cons

Small and mighty teams, wearing multiple hats, so being flexible here is a plus.

Pros

Good coworkers who genuinely support each other. The work itself gives you exposure to a variety of client situations.

Cons

Leadership consistently painted a rosy picture of the company’s health while quietly laying off staff — a pattern that eroded trust over time. The workload is significant with little compensation to match, and burnout is real. Software is outdated and unstable, which makes an already demanding job harder. Clients are extremely demanding and there is little buffer or support structure in place to protect employees. Training is minimal and hiring help is not a priority despite the workload. Nepotism is also prevalent — many family members of leadership work at the company, which impacts fairness and growth opportunities. There is no real break during the day — lunch is essentially nonexistent as you are expected to be available and responsive at all times, leaving you feeling chained to your desk.
