Pros

Good coworkers who try to support each other despite the leadership. Standard benefits.

Cons

Arbitrary Policy Changes: Management is highly reactionary and unpredictable. Policies are frequently changed on a whim based on personal preferences or favoritism, rather than logic or business needs, creating an unstable work environment. Credit Theft by Management: Leaders routinely dismiss employee ideas, only to adopt them later and claim them as their own. Credit is never given where it is due, which completely stalls career growth. Culture of Fear and Blame: Open communication is discouraged, and there is zero tolerance for minor mistakes. Management forces staff to prioritize speed over protocols, then blames the employees when process failures happen. Severe Quality and Regulatory Risks: Staff are systematically pressured to bypass critical procedures to meet fast deadlines. This has directly resulted in product quality failures, product recalls, and massive liability risks. Suppressed Safety Reporting: Workplace injury reporting is actively discouraged. Management especially the excellence manager blames the injured individual rather than addressing the root cause, leading to unreported workplace hazards. Penalized Time Off: Taking sick time off or handling external personal emergencies is now being met with penalties

Pros

The new management can’t follow their own new rules. They change everything to fit their own narrative. If they don’t like what you are wearing, they will turn around and change the policy to be what they want , an example is dress code change. The new continuous improvement excellence manager thinks sh is in charge of the entire manufacturing floor. Instead of going to the manufacturing management she feels it’s necessary to go directly to employees who work on the floor and speak to them about what she doesn’t like. She knows nothing about working in a machine shop and makes up safety rules that don’t even apply. It’s overkill. Psychological safety is at risk as she and the new site manager do not welcome your thoughts or concerns it’s their way or no way. This is definitely a different company now and the culture went from goo to toxic.

Cons

Culture, pay, and OT payments not paid when holiday or using your vacation time sick time.
