Pros
Not many other than the espresso machine and the wild turkeys that came around in the fall. The general staff were mostly good people.
Cons
Rampant favoritism, backstabbing, manipulation and power hungry middle managers. You never knew when the rug would get pulled out from under you. Some of experiences I had included vacation time being removed from my ADP profile without communication because a manager thought you were not working hard enough (later replaced after discovering this and presenting the information to upper management and HR - manager then put the 6 days back and said 'I guess you really are doing your job') to false contract negotiations, manager getting angry and raising their voice to the point of yelling during meetings, project plans being drafted by managers who have no concept or understanding of the technology involved and then pushed onto you with expectations of completion in a completely unrealistic timeline and budget, agreements made with C-level management reneged upon. They didn't even pay out the minimum bonus for the year even though that was a significant portion of my salary. When leaving they provided a written document that stated they would not contest unemployment and then twice filed documents with the State of Massachusetts attempting to cancel that which they offered with a severance agreement. There were some very talented senior staff and management - most of them left for other jobs leaving the dregs behind.
