Hi there, sorry to hear that. As you can imagine this is not what we want to read about working at Straumann. I would love to understand the circumstances that you described better. And I am interested to learn if you have spoken with anyone to solve this challenge. To see what we can do to make you feel better here in the company please contact me directly at marcus.fischer@straumann.com. I know, I am demanding trust in this case but I promise to keep our dialogue strictly confidential. I cannot guarantee that I am able to solve any problem you might have here but I am willing to understand better what is going on there and to find ways to make you happier at your workplace - the place where you spend most of your time awake. As our employee you know that we are taking many efforts to live our core behaviours and we are very serious about that. We are aware that there is room for improvement but we can only improve if we collaborate on that. Thanks for your support in advance and wishing you a successful and more positive 2018! All the best Marcus --- Team Talent Acqusition

Pros

Excellent people, great company, great company culture

Cons

company growth comes with growing pains, company culture and money/time spent towards employee appreciation events seem to be waning.

Pros

The new management can’t follow their own new rules. They change everything to fit their own narrative. If they don’t like what you are wearing, they will turn around and change the policy to be what they want , an example is dress code change. The new continuous improvement excellence manager thinks sh is in charge of the entire manufacturing floor. Instead of going to the manufacturing management she feels it’s necessary to go directly to employees who work on the floor and speak to them about what she doesn’t like. She knows nothing about working in a machine shop and makes up safety rules that don’t even apply. It’s overkill. Psychological safety is at risk as she and the new site manager do not welcome your thoughts or concerns it’s their way or no way. This is definitely a different company now and the culture went from goo to toxic.

Cons

Culture, pay, and OT payments not paid when holiday or using your vacation time sick time.
