Straumann Group Response

Hi there Thank you for your review - we appreciate it highly even if you might understand that this is not exactly what we want to achieve. This is the dark side of being successful as we are: You never run out of work. We are addressing this (see open positions at www.straumann.com/jobs) but it needs time. Honestly: it is better to have too much work than running out of it and lose the job at the end. We know that not every employee (and that includes managers) are acting as role models when it comes to our cultural journey but we are on the way. We invest heavily in training and education here. But as you know some things need time I am sorry that you were not happy at the end of your many years with us. It is never good to lose someone who was with a company for so long. I hope that you will find an environment that allows you to perform in a way that makes you happier. All the best! Greetings from Basel Marcus --- Marcus Fischer Head of Global Talent Acquisition + Employer Branding Straumann Group

Cons

company growth comes with growing pains, company culture and money/time spent towards employee appreciation events seem to be waning.

Pros

The new management can’t follow their own new rules. They change everything to fit their own narrative. If they don’t like what you are wearing, they will turn around and change the policy to be what they want , an example is dress code change. The new continuous improvement excellence manager thinks sh is in charge of the entire manufacturing floor. Instead of going to the manufacturing management she feels it’s necessary to go directly to employees who work on the floor and speak to them about what she doesn’t like. She knows nothing about working in a machine shop and makes up safety rules that don’t even apply. It’s overkill. Psychological safety is at risk as she and the new site manager do not welcome your thoughts or concerns it’s their way or no way. This is definitely a different company now and the culture went from goo to toxic.

Cons

Culture, pay, and OT payments not paid when holiday or using your vacation time sick time.
