Hi there
thank you for your review, even if it looks like that you were not satisfied working with us.
From today's perspective, things might have changed a little bit. The workload was a topic as the success of Straumann led to enough work for everyone here. We are constantly analyzing what and how much is needed to reach our ambitious goals and following the findings we have to take action. It is in the nature of things that most strategies leave some people happy and some not. As you can see in the current situation it is never easy to find a way that serves everyone's needs and wishes.
Does this really end up in a one-star-rating? What about your colleagues, the culture, salary, benefits, and the other things? Was all this really that bad?
Let me share my view and be aware, this is subjective: For sure we are not perfect at all. For sure, we are all working hard. For sure there are never enough resources and budget. I want more for my work as well. But have you ever worked for an employer with a never-ending flow of budget and resources? I don't.
I like having so many inspiring and talented colleagues around me and all over the globe. I like the open-minded and hands-on "can-do"-attitude so many people here have. I am happy to work for a company that helps people to feel better with our excellent products. The Player-Learner-Approach helps me to develop myself and to improve my work every day. But sometimes things need time.
However, I want to thank you for being with us and your engagement for such a long time - as said, I hope, not everything was so bad as a 1-star-rating look like. For your next career step, I am wishing you all the best and that you find an employer who offers what we missed. If you want to share something with me do not hesitate to contact me at marcus.fischer@straumann.com, I am always happy to learn what we can do better in the future.
Take care and stay healthy!
Greetings from Basel
Marcus
