Pros

Working with a helpful and nice sales team. Transparency on global communications.

Cons

Within my first 3 months, they gave me the responsibility of an extra brand against my will and without a raise on my salary. Basically I started to do two men work. Upper management did not share the budget I am responsible for with me. Really great global corporate values are advertised however, you can’t see or feel those values in Ankara Office. After I started, I’ve heard the history of verbal and physical violence in the company between the employees. And this is not a heresay, I also experienced a verbal violence in the open office environment. I was insulted by an employee with more than 10 years presence at the company, who is employed in a lower rank than me, because she didn’t want to perform her main task in her job description. Guess what? She get away with it and had a promotion. Even I relocated for this opportunity without any relocation support, I couldn’t stand this cultural mess. And during my leaving discussions the HR team told me that I can’t inflation compensation that I deserved for my last two months which is promised to all of the employees by an official announcement. I’ve heard some news from the company and they fired a lot of valuable person who are not okay with this global corporate looking dictatorship. For those who are willing to relocate for this company, please think twice!

Pros

The new management can’t follow their own new rules. They change everything to fit their own narrative. If they don’t like what you are wearing, they will turn around and change the policy to be what they want , an example is dress code change. The new continuous improvement excellence manager thinks sh is in charge of the entire manufacturing floor. Instead of going to the manufacturing management she feels it’s necessary to go directly to employees who work on the floor and speak to them about what she doesn’t like. She knows nothing about working in a machine shop and makes up safety rules that don’t even apply. It’s overkill. Psychological safety is at risk as she and the new site manager do not welcome your thoughts or concerns it’s their way or no way. This is definitely a different company now and the culture went from goo to toxic.

Cons

Culture, pay, and OT payments not paid when holiday or using your vacation time sick time.
