Pros

Well, my position is unique, so I fortunately have a lot of freedom to help the students, but that is not the case with most people who work here.

Cons

For starters they advertised the job as full-time, gave me a job offer as full-time, and a week before my start date (which, by the way was a moth after I had stopped my job search because I thought I was good to go) they changed it from a great full-time salary with benefits to like $13 an hour for 25 hours a week. So yeah, that's not so cool right there. The biggest con is that it is kinda like one of those places that just calls people and sells things. Really they are just selling diplomas and the whole culture is about "rah rah go sales!!" Of course, there are some people who genuinely care about the students' best interest, and if you work with them closely you can make an impact, but it is kind of like being a medic in a war you don't agree with.
