Pros

Promote from within but that is based off of "who" you know, great education benefits for you and family (cover 90%), pay is okay but you have to be sure to negotiate

Cons

Where do I begin...Strayer University is a for-profit school that could care less about their employees. There is absolutely no work-life balance and they only care about getting enrollments. If you are a manager, you are expected to work from open to close, every weekend if your team is not meeting the weekly/quarterly targets, and look at get mad at you if you ask for a vacation date. The Regional leadership is constantly changing and they are always changing the ways things are done but fail to communicate the changes. Rather than assist managers when things are going well in terms of enrollments, they will write you up just to get you out of the door. My only suggestion is that you conduct your research before working for this company and ask to speak to current employees to ask questions before accepting the position. The culture is created by the Campus Director and if they are horrible then you will be miserable. The Human Resource department is a joke because they do not take anything serious in regards to employees being threatened by upper management.
