Pros

Excellent products and very positive culture. Extremely helpful peers.

Cons

Lack of local mid level management limits sales growth potential. Varsity mentality and entitled attitudes with little out of Stryker work experience among the sales force. Lack of career track transparency or clear expectations beyond “hit quota and we will talk.” Why would a sales professional care about hitting quota without a commission as an ASR? The carrot of “possible” promotion is not how you inspire performance, especially in a crowded market with other opportunities stealing tenured reps and market share.

-Overall high level of talent that you work with -Massive Economies of Scale -Healthy bonus related to healthy company performance

Cons

- Poor Work/Life Balance - HR really only works for Director's and up, and enables their behavior regardless of alignment with company values. Just there to protect the shield - Upstream Marketing has little to know upward growth or trajectory even with years of high ratings on reviews. Must carry the bag to grow career at Stryker.
