Pros

Stryker is a challenging and fun place to work. I can honestly say I love coming to work every day because I have the opportunity to work with incredibly talented individuals and some of my best friends. Stryker embraces and fosters a culture of team work, collaboration, communication and hard work; not a day goes by where I don't feel challenged in my role. The company provides endless opportunities to grow and develop your career - these are just a few of the many reasons why people love working for Stryker and why it's not just a stepping stone to something greater (because it's the greatest!); people come and they stay and flourish in their career forever!

Cons

It can be difficult to "turn work off" at times. Not because Stryker requires this, but because I love my job, I love the people and I love the constant challenge Stryker provides. Stryker seeks individuals who are innately wired to achieve; this is why we continue to win year after year and why we stay ahead of our competition. I don't really see this as a con as I thrive off the achieving piece. You just need to be cognizant of and create your own work-life integration, which Stryker always encourages and supports!

Pros

The individual contributors you work with are fantastic people and the products we work on are really interesting and have significant impacts on patient care.

Cons

Sports Medicine has unfortunately changed from a dynamic and collaborative group to one being led by toxic leadership. Rather than working together and trusting team members, they now have an in group and out group. If you’re in the in group, you can say anything you want without being questioned and be automatically trusted even when your track record says otherwise. If you’re in the out group and your message doesn’t align with what the leadership wants to hear, then you are automatically wrong and not to be trusted.
