Performance-driven. People-centric. Values and promotes diversity of people and thought. Strengths-based focus on development. Continuous Improvement mindset. Decentralization - have autonomy to meet the needs of your Division. Internal relationships - have best friends at work, can leverage to achieve more.

Cons

Archaic processes - very paper based. Benefits are ok. Decentralization - lack of consistency in some areas. Internal relationships - mid-career hires can feel like an outsider but this can be mitigated if the mid-career hire integrates and build relationships quickly, they can succeed.

-Overall high level of talent that you work with -Massive Economies of Scale -Healthy bonus related to healthy company performance

Cons

- Poor Work/Life Balance - HR really only works for Director's and up, and enables their behavior regardless of alignment with company values. Just there to protect the shield - Upstream Marketing has little to know upward growth or trajectory even with years of high ratings on reviews. Must carry the bag to grow career at Stryker.
