Pros

flexible schedule, great colleagues, opportunity for professional growth, casual work setting, challenging and meaning work, indoor and outdoor duties, responsibilities are multifaceted so I was able to develop many other skills including grant writing, program evaluation, risk management assessment, conservation work skills, volunteer coordination, marketing and communication, partnership development...

Cons

Very stressful, always more than enough work, 50-60 hour work week was not uncommon, organizational training for new employees was minimal, staff expected to take a lot of initiative, lean on the job and be willing to train colleagues.
