Pros

Colleagues are friendly and staff is accommodating. You'll see some beautiful places like never before and have the experience of a lifetime. Great way to save $$ because you'll have no way of spending it while you're on hitches.

Cons

Working an average of 80 hours per week as a Crew Leader, you make pretty slim wages. Getting "paid in sunsets" is the name of the game. Totally worth the experience but be prepared for the labor, late nights, early mornings, etc. If you are in a field-based roll, that is your life for the entire 10-16 week season. No days "off". Rarely any downtime. No social life outside of your crew. That is what you are signing up for. It is not for everyone and thats OK.
