Pros

Good skills in hospitality, people were pleasant and clean environment. Learned how to make coffee using machine, and make nice sandwiches and wraps. Perks include 50% off any purchases made by workers, and the store manager was nice and allowed us to consume as many cookies as we liked. Good pay.

Cons

Closing down shop after a day's work takes longer than anticipated. When i first started I was always put on register as I worked during peak times so it was too busy to place me anywhere else otherwise I'd slow down the line. In this way, it was hard for me to improve in sub-making skills, so when you start it is best to work during non peak hours.

Pros

Literally nothing was good about working for subway

Cons

-you get to see how unsanitary and not real the food is -management is always a nightmare with franchise establishments -stressful environment with a constant expectation to run the full store alone -scheduling is inconsistent and management always will overwork and underpay -attempts to wage garnish at every turn asking you to clock out and finish tasks before leaving or taking tips from card transactions if you “make a mistake”
