Pros

Free 6 inch sub every 5+ hour shift However this rule remained even if you had a 10+ hour shift

Cons

-Minimum wage (£3.69) is ridiculous for the amount of work and responsibilities you are constantly loaded with. - Lack of training. My 'training' consisted of being thrown straight into work and learning off others already working there. - Way too many things to do at once; most of the time it would be left understaffed leaving it impossible for just two of you to complete all work as well as serving customers. - On more than one occasion I (and other staff) have been put on a shift by ourselves.. Since when has it been suitable to leave ONE sandwich to run an entire subway store? - Constantly asked to cover and swap shifts even after the rota has been sorted. Then when you explain you've already made plans around your initial shifts, you're frowned upon and made to look a 'pain'. - Complete lack of respect for all sandwich artists, expected to do the impossible. Literally the worst place to work - would rather have no job than a job at Subway.

Pros

Literally nothing was good about working for subway

Cons

-you get to see how unsanitary and not real the food is -management is always a nightmare with franchise establishments -stressful environment with a constant expectation to run the full store alone -scheduling is inconsistent and management always will overwork and underpay -attempts to wage garnish at every turn asking you to clock out and finish tasks before leaving or taking tips from card transactions if you “make a mistake”
