Salary is competitive. Coworkers. Feeling that you’re making a difference. Challenging work. Unique setting.
Cons
Ownership. Nepotism is rampant and negatively impacts progress and clinical decisions. Supervision is phony. Expectations are fluid. Gossip especially in upper levels. Support staff turnover is intensely rapid. Your opinion is often used as a means of critique of your work after the fact. No actual HR support. They’re part of management. This is a distinctly For Profit setting, so never forget that billing in king, not client services. Billing. Generally negative and combative relationships across systems with lip service about how they’re a loving family setting.
