Pros
- Variety of benefits including student loan repayment, free mental healthcare programs, great PPO medical plan, many options for life insurance, health perks and incentives - Supportive; HR really does care about the employees and their wellbeing - Vertical and horizontal opportunities; you can fill any role if you put your mind to it, and they'll encourage it
Cons
- Long hours are expected just because of this industry, but in some cases not necessary (more of a perception thing) - Relocation opportunities; the area I was in was still growing and had some opportunities, however the wants of the employee were overshadowed by the needs of the company. A lot of coworkers commute 2+ hours each way, even a couple out of state - Not enough onboarding time; although the immediate responsibilities were a great chance for me to grow, many mistakes were left without feedback or ways to improve. - Although the site was very safe, the particular area the project in was very rough.
