• Constant turnover in the Bakery management • Lack of mentor-ship/management development (Entire Company) • Has tried many things (unsuccessfully) without the buy-in of the mid-level leaders • Upper management is notorious for putting the “Cart” before the “Horse” with their ideas • Upper Management does not listen to mid-level managers • Company may be going in the wrong direction with current leadership • Work/Life balance is talked about but not improved at all • Lots of favoritism by upper management • New POD (self-directed teams) is pushing a lot of experienced associates to leave the company • Lots of Over Time even with 12 hour shifts (5 & 6 days of work per week)
