Pros
During many of my past internships, my main work has just been helping my manager with simpler tasks, as many interns do. Although I've learned a lot through those experiences, at Summer I've been given much more responsibility and control over the work that I do. I've been able to come up with my own ideas, work towards them, and see them actually implemented, which is really motivating! And my manager is always there to help me through my work. I feel like I have already made in impact in my short time here!
Cons
Since Summer is a early start up with less than 30 people currently, there are some structural aspects such as workflow or processes that aren't in place yet. Some people who are looking for more structure and rules may see this as a con. But others may view this as an opportunity to make real change while working here.
