Pros

If you want to work for a company that is focused on geographical growth, this company is for you.

Cons

The company’s financial investors are focused so heavily on growing the size of the company, excellence takes a back seat. Corporate services are terribly disorganized and the corporate services personnel treat the branch offices poorly. Existing branch offices take a back seat to the “new and exciting” acquisitions. The culture of not returning phone calls and emails from branch offices is rampant. The IT department leadership is not equipped to handle a company of their size and thus the whole department is lackluster. It’s difficult to grow a company rapidly when the company is poorly run to begin with.

Pros

Employees not only get to work for a company with a mission dedicated to protecting people and property, they also have the chance to grow their careers through training, new opportunities, and projects to advance the company. But it's the people who work at Summit that truly makes a difference - they are passionate and committed, work collaboratively, and support each other like you'd expect when working as a team.

Cons

It's a fast-paced environment that expects employees to do their best and perform on a high level.
