Pros

Honestly the benefits were the best part, Hours were okay depending upon your department. most co- workers were nice. Holidays off were always nice

Cons

Your experience is heavily determined by your Supervisor and if they are not Clinical when you are in a specialized field, It's awful. Drs are nice but have become money hungry and take on unrealistic patient loads especially during Covid time. They would rather burn you out and hire more people than invest in you.

Loved the doctors I worked with and everything was great until we moved to a Summit Health multi-specialty office with a new manager

Cons

Once the office moved to a Summit Health multi-specialty office with a new Manger, the scheduling got really wonky and there were whole shifts when I would be the only MA on staff. We had a busy practice and it became insane. The new manager had no idea what she was doing- our old manager had decades of healthcare experience and this new one had an MBA and an attitude and was rarely around to discuss issues.
