Pros

Maintenance department is usually exempt from layoffs because there are always special projects to do.

Cons

When production is limited by supplier demand, you either have to take a day off for lack of work or cover it with your vacation or personal time. First shift is the golden shift as they get all of the overtime and rarely are laid off.

Pros

The pay is OK. There are some good people employed here. Decent benefits. 401k. Pto Vacation after 1 yr Yearly raises for the first 5 yrs.

Cons

Poor management. No work, home balance, they expect you to live at work. The 401k is forced, you can not decline it. Best believe, this company doesn't care about employees. No communication from the top down. Something will change and you won't be notified til you've done it the previous way and get in trouble. Point system is horrendous, it takes 2 months perfect attendance to get 1 point back. Pto is hard to use. Gets denied often. Even with plenty of notice.
