Do not work here if you’re a woman or POC - Sales Representative SumnerOne Employee Review

Pros

There is no structure or protocol for any process; so you can choose to move a sale in whatever way you see fit.

Cons

They do not value women or people of color and will make degrading jokes to your face and behind your back. Sales managers will divert sales accounts away from your territory to white males that they prefer or to themselves if it is a large account. They will not pay you what is promised in your employment contract and will justify it by any means necessary. Sales managers love micromanaging and want you in your cubicle as much as physically possible.

We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Your review raises serious concerns that we do not condone within our company culture. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment and want to ensure that all of our employees are treated in a fair manner. We do not take this lightly, and strongly encourage you to contact a member of our company’s human resources department (recruitment@sumnerone.com) so we can properly address this.

Pros

None, I use to love this job. Now I just dread going to work. Too many clicks, and if you don't fit in, you will be an outsider. Its also nice to see many employees doing little to no work with no repercussions. The one place where nothing works should be the actual slogan.

Cons

I use to love this place. Then upper management changed, we lost a bunch of accounts. Employees have been fired right and left, or ran for the hills (they are the smart ones). They have events, but don't allow field technicians enough flexibility to get to them. You will be underpaid, watched like a hawk, and don't expect to get ahead. There are little to no opportunities to advance, and when there are, they are not posted for you to apply to them. Current management will pick and choose who gets a chance for the opening.
