Pros

Great team before numerous changes in leadership and business.

Cons

Flexibility depends on your manager. In most roles, there is no work-life balance, and a majority of the women in leadership roles do not have families of their own which creates unrealistic expectations for those who do. Also, unless you have a high salary and can afford to live in Wellesley or Newton, your commute will be a nightmare. They promote healthy living, work life balance, and flexibility but it is not there.

Pros

Sun Life provides competitive benefits, remote work opportunities, and the chance to work alongside knowledgeable professionals. The company offers strong learning opportunities within the disability and leave management space.

Cons

Staffing reductions and increasing workloads have made it difficult for some teams to maintain service levels while preserving employee well-being. Leadership communication and support can vary by department.
