Pros

Compensation will not be an issue if you are very hardworking & determined to sell and if your sales closing ratio is high, you'll get a bonus from the company and other incentives from your branch & unit managers as well. Working time is also very flexible! You don't need to follow an 8-5 schedule which gives you the freedom to do whatever you want exactly when you want to do it. Local/International awards & money and travel incentives (all expenses paid + allowance) are also given to all those who reach a certain goal/quota during a specific period of time.

Cons

First: It's commission-based salary system. That's why if you're looking for a job that will consistently pay you every month, then this might not be for you unless you're willing to work for those sales. Second: Quotas

Pros

Sun Life provides competitive benefits, remote work opportunities, and the chance to work alongside knowledgeable professionals. The company offers strong learning opportunities within the disability and leave management space.

Cons

Staffing reductions and increasing workloads have made it difficult for some teams to maintain service levels while preserving employee well-being. Leadership communication and support can vary by department.
