Great non-pay benefits. Pay is bad. Work-life balance is generally good. - Quantitative Analyst SunTrust Employee Review

Pros

Excellent ancillary benefits package (healthcare was the best I have had yet), vacation package was nice, lots of discounts available at merchants for bank employees, and decent banking perks for employees. I happened to really like my group and group leaders and most people were incredibly friendly all over the bank. Work life balance was very good, I rarely worked more than 45-50 hours a week.

Cons

Executive management is dense and out of touch. Pay is anemic and there was zero opportunity for any bonus unless you were a board-certified officer or worked for CIB. There was zero opportunity for professional growth and advancement within my group, department, or other areas of the bank. Most of the people within my group left within 2 years.

Pros

It is a great place to work. They prepare you well in training.
