Pros
Some flexibility in daily work schedule.
Cons
Private company and they are clearly focused on making profit. Director and Administrator are very inexperienced. They say they anre anva and ready to respond with information or support if questions come up in the field. However, in reality, they are unresponsive when something comes up in the field until long after the issue occurs. Then once the director, social worker, administrator have waited hours to respond, then they finally reply - they micromanage the situation, criticize the nurse in the field, undermine the nurse in the field, and finally, blame the nurse in the field for any complaint the patient or family have. The director, social worker, chaplain, and administrator are so busy blaming nurses for issues, it is surprising that any registered nurse would choose to work here. By the way, those hiring bonuses they promise, just know, management will do some very creative evaluation statements to avoid paying the bonus at the end of the year. So many nurses never get their bonus after working hard for an entire year.
