Pros
I met some wonderful people in my time at Sunrise. Additionally, I had the opportunity to grow professionally and make connections with other agencies, which ultimately led to a new job opportunity. I felt that's Sunrise genuinely knows a good worker when they see it and they try to hold onto you.
Cons
The pay. It goes without saying that you can make more elsewhere. The benefits. The benefits are barely benefits. The medical coverage is a joke. The supervision. My supervisor, despite attempting to appear as though she had our best interests at heart, actually really focused much too heavily on the bottom line. I would imagine that was a company wide directive from the top down, as I saw it everywhere. Morale was consistently the worst I've ever seen on the job. It was very clear that we were dispensable, no matter how much of a star you were. When I left the company for an amazing opportunity (that I should have been encouraged to pursue), I got nothing but grief and negativity from my supervisor. They have a hard time holding onto good people, likely because workers realize they can be paid fairly and valued elsewhere.
