Pros

It's a great place to start if your coming out of school and need an "in" into the office environment. You'll also have a sense of satisfaction knowing you're helping build up renewable energy infrastructure. They are trying to improve on most of the things pointed out in the "con" section and they are good at listening to feedback. They have been publicly traded for about 2 years and are still getting used to having to please stockholders while maintain company morale. I have faith that they'll figure everything out.

Cons

Management is completely disconnected from the job and duties therein. No one on the supervisory level (even the people in charge of training and process development) has done the job themselves, therefore they are clueless when you come to them with questions and will often just guess. You'll learn to rely on your team members for resolving issues. To boot it they are CONSTANTLY changing ("improving") processes which results in mass amounts of confusion. Working hard and covering your duties MIGHT get you a pay raise but it won't get you promotion. The highest paid person in my department (and first in line for a promotion) spends a better part of the day fooling around playing games while the people who really drive results and crush their job are turned down for promotions on a regular basis. Think Office Space. Not much time to live your life outside of work. OT is expected and they regularly ask employees to come in on Saturday (although you can just say "no"). No work from home options.

Pros

Pay per hour isn’t bad and you just kind of walk around the store and no one from the company will really check up on you besides whoever else is scheduled with you

Cons

Such a disorganized company. The stores you get sent too is based on your address I had put a different home address for personal reasons and explained I actually lived somewhere else said they’d made accommodations, they lied and didn’t even though they could’ve. They change their standards whenever they want I got fired because of a requirement they changed mid employment, I was making the requirements that was told to me when I first got hired but after a month they decided to change it and let me go the same day because I “wasn’t meeting that requirement” when it literally was just made up. So many pointless meetings everyday where they just repeat the same stuff everyday. The only successful people at this position are people who constantly harass customers in the store and so many people would get banned from certain stores due to complaints but the company will not punish them or anything if anything they almost encourage this behavior. Do not work for this company they’re a scam. They say they offer a “rate reduction” program to homeowners but it isn’t, they just want to get people trapped in a long contract for years that they just keep raising prices. They are not an honest company. The hours are terrible it is mandatory that you work every weekend and they make it a huge deal if you try to take it out saying you can get written up for it.
