Pros

The job of Project Coordinator is very easy. The people on my team were great and very supportive. Liked the team at the solar branch I worked with a lot.

Cons

I took the role of Project Coordinator even at low pay because I wanted greater exposure to the field of project management and I wanted to work in a field to help the environment. This job IS NOT THAT. It's basically a glorified customer service role where you do admin assistant type work and have to deal with overpaid sales reps and needy customers who regularly get angry because what was sold to them isn't being delivered. I didn't feel like I was learning and growing at all in this role. This took me a step backward in my career. Management is a joke. My manager had serious time management issues and was good at talking and nothing else. You have to read off of a script 100% of the time with customers which is so boring and annoying. The benefits are also poor with little vacation, and poor insurance plans. I left this company months ago and am still paying medical bills from basic services b/c insurance wouldn't cover it. When the company DOES give you a day off, management requires all PCs to work overtime to make up for it. So why give people days off in the first place? Raises are minimal and are only based on tenure, not how well you're doing in the role. What's the point of QAing everything if you're not taking that into account when giving people raises. Turnover is super high and the values aren't taken into consideration. One of the values is being "human centered" but that's ONLY taken into account for customers, not their actual employees. You would get dinged if you took an unexpected sick day.

Pros

Pay per hour isn’t bad and you just kind of walk around the store and no one from the company will really check up on you besides whoever else is scheduled with you

Cons

Such a disorganized company. The stores you get sent too is based on your address I had put a different home address for personal reasons and explained I actually lived somewhere else said they’d made accommodations, they lied and didn’t even though they could’ve. They change their standards whenever they want I got fired because of a requirement they changed mid employment, I was making the requirements that was told to me when I first got hired but after a month they decided to change it and let me go the same day because I “wasn’t meeting that requirement” when it literally was just made up. So many pointless meetings everyday where they just repeat the same stuff everyday. The only successful people at this position are people who constantly harass customers in the store and so many people would get banned from certain stores due to complaints but the company will not punish them or anything if anything they almost encourage this behavior. Do not work for this company they’re a scam. They say they offer a “rate reduction” program to homeowners but it isn’t, they just want to get people trapped in a long contract for years that they just keep raising prices. They are not an honest company. The hours are terrible it is mandatory that you work every weekend and they make it a huge deal if you try to take it out saying you can get written up for it.
