Pros
- Get some free nike swag if you can hit certain sales goals
Cons
- no reimbursement for travel (gas and tolls) or for your phone, even though they expect you to commute 30 minutes to an hour daily and text/call customers from your personal cell. - no real support from field sales teams. Usually I would get 1 sale a month after setting 15+ appointments, making very little money. - no where to sit, or rest your legs after standing still on concrete at the exit of a costco or home depot. - high cost of health insurance, basically $100/paycheck. take home pay was rarely more than $500/week. - if you are in competitive area for solar, it will be hard to sell. Tesla and other companies were beating some of my quotes by $20k... - Once in RSA roll it will be almost impossible to move up so its a dead end job. Brick ceiling, not even glass if you are trying to become an in home sales consultant or manager.
