Pros
Company really takes care of employees. Has good benefits to include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and HSA match. It also has better than average PTO benefits (15 days paid vacation, 2 personal days, and 9 sick days/ year). Company also has good training for all roles to help people succeed in their current role and future roles. The company also has well defined processes and procedures. An additional benefit is branches are closed on weekends. Lastly, it has a strong safety culture but there are still a lot of accidents.
Cons
The industry is a "grind" so there is constant turnover. By nature, the rental industry is a high turnover industry so there is a constant backfilling of driver, mechanic, and yard positions. Some of the salespeople are Primadonas. They will treat Inside Salespeople horribly to get their way. They are afraid to talk to their customers about damage they caused. Drivers tend to also be very whiney and will complain constantly about others and the company.
