Pros

Absolutely none. Unethical as they come.

Cons

By far the worst company I’ve EVER worked for. Don’t just take my word for it . . . do your homework and read the other reviews. They are spot on. Let’s start at the top . . . the CEO who berates other leaders in public forums, calls employees lazy, and publicly shames anyone and everyone. This bullying, toxic behavior is waterfalled down via senior management and to all other employees, who treat each other with complete disrespect and retaliatory behavior as well. Don’t bother going to HR with complaints of a hostile work environment, bullying, harassment, or retaliation by your manager or dept VP, as the head of HR is incompetent as they come. The head of HR exhibits lower level human behavior and no disciplinary action will be taken against managers who are investigated, even if claims are substantiated. Harassment is the norm here. The termination rate is through the roof, and it’s a constant revolving door within HR. Discrimination is rampant, especially for non-Asian individuals. If you receive an offer, guarantee it will be low-balled. The buildings are in total disrepair. Ceiling tiles look ready to drop, the carpet is a patchwork of mismatched fixes, the bathrooms are grimy and decades out of date, and the air conditioning barely works when summer hits. I could go on and on but you get the drift. Run, don’t walk, far far away from this place.

Pros

I have enjoyed working in the Supermicro IT & DataCenter infrastructure group. It's an exciting opportunity to be directly involved in some of the most impactful trends in the industry, including AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, high-density computing, and next-generation data center design. As an IT Director focused on Applications and data center infrastructure, I have been able to work with talented, dedicated engineers and business leaders to meet complex customer requirements. The company moves quickly, embraces innovation, and provides opportunities to make meaningful contributions rather than getting lost in layers of bureaucracy.

Cons

The pace can be demanding, and priorities sometimes shift as the business continues to grow rapidly. There are times when processes, tools, and organizational structures are still catching up to the company's expansion. Success often requires flexibility, a willingness to take ownership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Employees who prefer highly structured environments and clearly defined boundaries may find the pace challenging.
