Pros

You get 2 free fruit every Wednesday and processed bread every morning.

Cons

No benefits, no career growth. People here are stuck in same level for 3+ years, work is not very challenging, no industry-transferable skills, lazy coworkers, poverty-low base salary barely survivable. The company is comprised of 1. New grads who couldn’t find another job 2. Laid off employees from very reputable companies who cannot find another job 3. A mix of employees ranging from “no company in the right mind would hire them” to decent. For a “tech” company people surprisingly come off very unintelligent here. The majority of roles here are bait-and-switch, high schoolers could do this job. A lot of employees here stay here for years not because they enjoy it, but because no other place will or wants to hire them. Its pathetic that they need to inflate their overall Glassdoor rating with fake reviews.

Pros

I have enjoyed working in the Supermicro IT & DataCenter infrastructure group. It's an exciting opportunity to be directly involved in some of the most impactful trends in the industry, including AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, high-density computing, and next-generation data center design. As an IT Director focused on Applications and data center infrastructure, I have been able to work with talented, dedicated engineers and business leaders to meet complex customer requirements. The company moves quickly, embraces innovation, and provides opportunities to make meaningful contributions rather than getting lost in layers of bureaucracy.

Cons

The pace can be demanding, and priorities sometimes shift as the business continues to grow rapidly. There are times when processes, tools, and organizational structures are still catching up to the company's expansion. Success often requires flexibility, a willingness to take ownership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Employees who prefer highly structured environments and clearly defined boundaries may find the pace challenging.
