Pros

Strong culture of mentorship — senior engineers genuinely enjoy teaching and investing time in helping others understand the “why,” not just the task. Structured onboarding and internal boot camps that provide a solid foundation in construction fundamentals, contract documents, and company workflows. Leadership is supportive of professional development and continuing education. Flexibility in working hours within the department. Collaborative and friendly team environment. Competitive compensation and generous benefits. Weekly pay is a nice plus.

Cons

As with many growing organizations, processes and workflows continue to evolve. The experience can vary depending on team and department. Expectations are high, which can feel challenging at times — but also creates strong growth opportunities.

Pros

Management and direct supervisors at Superior are very supportive and approachable in terms of any questions, and the team are very opened positive minded, growth-oriented culture. The flexible work-life balance is a definite plus, and I'm gaining valuable experience in a collaborative team environment.

Cons

I am still learning how everything works, but so far it seems that advancement opportunities depend a lot on whether your direct manager advocates for you, rather than following a clear, skill-based path and because the pace here is fast which keeps things interesting, structured mentorship can feel a little light at times.
