As we have successfully completed a transition from 63 affiliate organizations, moved to a completely remote workforce and restructured Komen to increase our impact while reducing expenses. There has been a great deal of change over the last few years. We did have to layoff people and could not afford to hire all of the affiliate staff during the merger / aquisition process. Our pay and benefits are purposefully benched to market annually to ensure we are competitive and to ensure internal / external equity. We have also been conducting surveys focused on our continual improvement as an organization. One of the surveys conducted was Energage's Top Workplaces where we received awards and recognition for compensation & benefits, work-life flexibility, DE&I practices, remote work and top managers. We are far from perfect but definitely not the same organization you are referring to.
