If monetary reward is your goal, while getting promoted may be one way to do it within Sutherland, unfortunately, new salary won't be aligned with everyone else in the same level in the same department. Depending on your immediate manager's support, you can either be endorsed for some salary hike, if not alignment with the rest. But this is not a normal process that you have to expect to be done for you. Also, when one gets promoted during the fiscal year, do not expect any annual merit increase at the end of the fiscal year anymore even if you have had stellar performance.
